Naan Pizza is an amazing way to get a quick and easy dinner on the table in 20 minutes or less! This margherita flatbread pizza uses grocery store naan bread to make it a breeze. The recipe is endlessly customizable to suit everyone in your family, and kids can help to make their own.

Dinner is just 20 minutes away

Guys. Let me introduce you to one of my favourite quick and easy dinner time hacks... Naan Pizza! It's super easy to make, faster than takeout, and incredibly delicious.

This is whats-for-dinner-on-a-weeknight, hangry kids, tired mom, need something on the table in less time that it takes to watch an episode of Daniel Tiger kind of pizza.

This naan pizza is made with store-bought ingredients, starting with packaged naan bread and customizable with toppings that your kids will actually eat (or a fancied-up Flatbread Pizza for yourself - these semi-dried tomatoes and a torn-up ball of buffalo mozzarella is how I roll).

If you can't find naan, pita will work in a pinch, or even homemade flatbreads, too. My tested-till-perfect spelt pizza dough recipe is great for quick and easy flatbread pizzas.

Naan Pizza is good, it is comfort food, and it's what's for dinner tonight, so no complaining, you hear me? Pour yourself a glass of wine, mamma. Let's do this thing.

naan, pizza sauce, basil, mozzarella, red pepper flakes, and tomatoes on a grey surface

    Let's make Naan Pizza together!

Throw the kids in front of the iPad, pour yourself a big ol' glass of wine and fire up your oven. I got you, momma.

    Step 1: toast & prep

Toast your naan. This step is optional, which we will discuss below, but it does actually result in the crispiest pizza crust. You'll do this in a preheated oven directly on the wire racks.

Step 2: assemble your naan pizzas

Place your toasted naan bread onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread with pizza sauce. Add your favourite toppings, and cheese.

    Step 3: bake & slice!

Bake your margherita flatbread for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is nice and bubbly on top.

Slice your naan pizza like a boss. Top with fresh basil if desired.

Hi Konen! I do know this (just like how saying chai tea is like saying "tea tea") but to keep our overlords at Google happy and use common search terms that people enter, I've said "naan bread" in a few places 🙂
