    Nacho Average Air Fryer Recipe

Where are my nacho lovers at? I know you're out there! Boy oh boy, do I have good news for you today: speedy, delicious Air Fryer Nachos that are LOADED with good stuff.

I love making game day nachos, or having these loaded nachos for a fun dinner once in a while, especially when I can cram a ton of vegetables in there and smother them with melted cheese. I love layering in my go-to recipe for spicy Instant Pot black beans, or in a pinch I'll whip up some smoky refried black beans to add in the mix.

But you know how sometimes you want nachos, like, right now? I'm definitely not too proud to microwave a plate of nachos, but they never come out as nice and crisp as if you do them in the oven.

Well, friends, it's time to bust out your air fryers because air fryer nachos are the holy grail of quick and easy snacks. Crisp, delicious, veggie-loaded, cheese-covered nacho perfection is coming your way.

    Let's do this!

Let's make Air Fryer Nachos together!

Ok, here we go! Let me walk you through it step by step. By all means, if you'd rather skip straight to the recipe, feel free to use the "jump to recipe" button that'll take you right there.

Step 1: prepare your air fryer

Pre-heat your air fryer and line the basket with tinfoil. Trust me on this one, it'll be waaaaaay easier to get your nachos out afterwards.

Brush or spray the foil with a little bit of oil to make things even easier.

    Step 2: start layering!

Start with a layer of nachos over the foil, then top the nacho chips with beans and cheese...

Go down with your favorite veggies (I used tomatoes, diced red peppers, sliced jalapeños, and green onions).

    Step 3: repeat the layers

Keep repeating the layers until you're satisfied. You measure nacho layers with your heart.

When you're satisfied with your layers, finish with plenty of grated cheese on top.

Step 4: air fry your nachos!

Pop the nachos into your Air Fryer for five minutes. Take a look, see if it's crispy / melty enough, and keep cooking for another 2-3 minutes if needed.

    Step 5: serve!

To serve, simply slide the nachos out of the air fryer basket and onto a plate. Add fresh toppings and serve with your choice of dips.
