Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing is a creamy, healthy homemade ranch dip made with tangy yogurt, fresh herbs, zesty lemon juice, and a secret ingredient for that pungent ranch vibe. Ditch the bottled salad dressing and make this protein-packed homemade yogurt ranch instead!
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well combined.
¾ cup plain Greek yogurt, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¾ teaspoons onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 Tablespoon nutritional yeast, 1 Tablespoon fresh dill, 1 Tablespoon chives or green onion, 1 Tablespoon parsley, 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
Add 1-2 tablespoons water to thin to your desired consistency.
1-2 Tablespoons water
Let the dressing rest for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to bloom. Taste, and adjust seasonings if necessary.
Notes
Nutrition values are an estimate only
Nutritional yeast is optional, but highly recommended. It provides a real umami flavor, and is what takes this dressing from tasting like a thin tzatziki to more of that classic Ranch dressing taste.
Be sure to mince the fresh herbs very finely so the dressing is not too chunky.
This dressing will last about 2-3 days in your fridge.
A thinner dressing is great for salads; keep it on the thick side if you're going to use it as a dip for veggies.
