Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread toasted
  • 8 oz full-fat ricotta
  • ¼ cup fresh herbs I used basil and dill
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and roughly chop the herbs.
  • Stir the herbs into the ricotta and season with salt and pepper.
  • Toast bread.
  • Spread each slice of toast with a thick layer of herbed ricotta.
  • Add toppings as desired.
