FALAFEL SANDWICH

This Falafel Sandwich is   made with hot falafel, lots of veggies, and a dreamy tahini sauce stuffed into pita bread or a baguette.

– Falafel patties  – Bread of choice – Cucumber – Tomatoes  – Green leaf lettuce – Pickled red onion  – Hummus  – Cilantro  – Tahini  – Olive oil – Lemon juice – Garlic  – Salt and pepper 

INGREDIENTS:

whisk together tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, water, salt, and pepper. Taste, and adjust the seasonings if necessary.

Slice and chop your veggies. Rinse the lettuce. Prepare any herbs you'd like to add.

Spread each flatbread with hummus. Layer lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and pickled onions over top.

Add the falafel. Drizzle with tahini sauce, and garnish with fresh herbs. Fold or roll up to make your sandwich. Serve!
