AIR FRYER FALAFEL

This easy Air Fryer Falafel recipe is a delicious and healthy alternative to deep fried.  Made with soaked chickpeas, these vegan falafels are ready in just 15 minutes.

– Dried chickpeas  – Red onion  – Garlic – Red chili  – Parsley – Cilantro – Ground cumin – Ground coriander – Fine-grain sea salt – Baking powder

INGREDIENTS:

Place the chickpeas in a large  bowl and cover with plenty of water to soak overnight.

STEP 1:

Place the soaked and drained chickpeas, red onion, garlic, chili, parsley, cilantro, cumin,  coriander, and salt into the bowl of a food processor. 

STEP 2:

Pulse a few times, and then run the food processor until the ingredients are finely chopped. 

STEP 3:

Scoop heaping tablespoons of the falafel mixture, and use your hands to form into balls. 

STEP 4:

place the falafels in a single layer, with a bit of space between them. 

STEP 5:

Air Fry until crisp and golden - about 10 to 15 minutes.
