2 cups rolled oats 1/4 cup melted butter 1 cup milk 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 Tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Place the oats into a high-speed blender or food processor and blitz into a fine oat flour.

In a large bowl, combine the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Add the oat flour, baking powder, sea salt, and sugar, and whisk together with the wet ingredients. Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes.

When the iron is ready, brush the plates with butter or spray with cooking oil. Add waffle batter, filling each section about ¾ of the way full to avoid overflow.
