HOW TO COOK PINTO BEANS

INGREDIENTS:

Place your dried pinto beans into a mesh strainer and rinse well. Check for any stones or broken beans, and discard those.

In a large pot, combine dried pinto beans, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, and then reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer with the lid off until the beans are tender.

STOVETOP:

Add dried kidney beans, water, and salt to your Instant Pot. Set to High Pressure for 42 minutes, then allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes.

INSTANT POT:

Combine dried pinto beans, water, and salt in your slow cooker. Slow cook the beans for 4 - 6 hours.
