In a large pot, combine dried pinto beans, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, and then reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer with the lid off until the beans are tender.
Add dried kidney beans, water, and salt to your Instant Pot. Set to High Pressure for 42 minutes, then allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes.
