I think edamame may just be the perfect snack. These little pods of goodness can be steamed in a matter of minutes and sprinkled with a bit of sea salt for a satisfying snack that brings high quality plant-based protein and a good amount of dietary fiber to the table. Plus they’re freaking delicious! I like to keep bags of edamame pods in the freezer for healthy snacking – one cup of pods is the perfect amount for a snack. They’re delicious hot, cold, or at room temperature, which also makes this a great snack to prep in advance and pack along with you for a busy day. So go get steaming!
